An English translation of the national strategy for digitalisation is now available

13-09-2022

In May 2022, the Danish government presented a new national strategy for digitalisation. For the first time in Denmark, a coherent national strategy contains initiatives for the public and private sector both.

With the National Strategy for Digitalisation, the government is taking up the baton from the Danish Government Digitisation Partnership that delivered 46 recommendations for the government's digitalisation policy in October 2021.

In the new national strategy, the government encourages broad and binding cooperation between public and private partners, with civil society and the research community when continuing our digital journey.

As part of the new national strategy, the central government has negotiated a new binding Joint Government Digital Strategy. This strategy implements a range of initiatives in collaboration with Local Government Denmark and Danish Regions that focus on e.g. common public digital infrastructure.
